On 23 September 2024, English manufacturer OWS Fire Rated joined the Belgian Haerens Group. With the acquisition of the UK leader in high-security glazed joinery, Haerens Group and Eribel are strengthening their position to become the benchmark in the UK market for integrity only and fire-rated, glazed doors, fixed screens, frames and curtain walls. 

On 24 March 2022, the French manufacturer VD-Industry and its subsidiary Pyrométal joined the Belgian Haerens Group.

Rolex Brussels was looking for a solution for both day and night security. Eribel provided a customised solution for this jeweller.

The Plopsa hotel in De Panne will soon open its doors. This new hotel combines belle époque with the world of theatre and Studio 100 characters.

In Keerbergen, near Brussels, the safest house in the country is for sale. The house of 1,250 m² living space is equipped with various high-tech systems. It has 14 bedrooms, five bathrooms, a swimming pool, a panic floor and a bunker with a vault door.

HoGent, the university college of Ghent, has thoroughly renovated its sports hall. It was also extended with a new building. There are now 3 sports halls and a fitness centre. But a brand new research centre for sports is also opening: School of Sports. The construction project costs a total of almost 4 million euros.

The new Haeseveld brewery in Ghent, Belgium, recently opened its doors: it consists of a brewing hall, an event location and a spacious outdoor terrace.

The former trade fair in Antwerp, the "Handelsbeurs", has been given a facelift. After a 3-year restoration, the doors were opened for the first time in more than 20 years.

The castle of Moulbaix is located in Belgium near Ath. It was built in 1860 in neotudor style. The Govaert family bought the castle in 2016, to renovate it into a banquet hall with sleeping accommodation.

When designing a new building, acoustics are an indispensable part of the design process. In cultural centres, good acoustics are even primordial for the comfort of the visitor. Acoustics remains a complex matter: in practice, several factors influence the acoustical value achieved in situ, including the space, the building materials used and the decoration of the room.

Brussels Airport has just inaugurated the renovated Skyhall. This gigantic hall will be a new event hall, with space for 3000 people. Eribel installed the joinery for this project.

Aquapark Bellewaerde recently opened its doors. The complex, with an area of 3,000m², has a price tag of 17 million euros and is the largest investment ever for the amusement park. Eribel placed fire-resistant joinery around the recreation area. 

Access control is crucial. ln the door market, there is a significant shift from mechanical to electronic access control. Ideal would be when both methods can be combined in a single, certified solution. Eribel is an expert in the field.

Damage to the building was limited by the rapid intervention of the fire brigade and by the compartmentation design. At Lago, several Meyvaert Classic doors had been installed to ensure proper fire compartmentation throughout the building.
