You can clean the door leaf and the frame with pure water, possibly with a dash of detergent. Abrasive sponges and abrasives are strongly discouraged, as well as acidic cleaning agents (such as anti-lime products), organic solvents (such as alcohol), and strongly alkaline products (such as ammonia). It is important to choose pH-neutral cleaning products (pH 7). The same products can be used for PU edge strips.
Clean the hinges and locking mechanisms with a lightly damp cloth, possibly with a bit of detergent. We recommend avoiding the use of aggressive products.
When cleaning floors near fire-resistant doors, it is important that there is no prolonged contact with water. This could reduce the fire-resistant properties of the foam-sealing strips, which are typically located in the door leaf.
