Powder coating is an electrostatic painting process. In this process, the powder is positively charged with compressed air and then sprayed onto a negatively charged component. This ensures the powder adheres well, after which it is baked in an oven.

Powder coating is used for metal frames, panels, and profiles, such as parts of doors and windows. The finish can be glossy, matte, metallic, or textured. Powder coating is available in all RAL colors.

Compared to wet painting, powder coating has the advantage that the coating forms an even layer on metal that is stronger than a regular paint layer. Therefore, powder coating is often applied when the metal will be exposed to corrosive substances. Additionally, powder coating is more environmentally friendly than wet painting because no solvents are used during the process.
